Elliott, 30, was sent to Alaska for maintenance work on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline that crosses the region from north to south. Faced with the magnitude of the wilderness, Eliott will gradually lose ground. The professional journey will then turn into initiatory adventure. The reason may be located closer to madness than he could have imagined.

The Pipeline O.S.T is the result of collaboration between L’ironie du Son, Guillaume Peitrequin and Fabio Poujouly. The soundtrack is the result of a "work in progress" collective and experimental, between ethnic and organic sounds and electronic atmospheres giving birth to a splendid world of textures, ambiences, noises that are predominant in the movie.

Eliott, 30 ans, est envoyé en Alaska pour des travaux de maintenance sur le Trans-Alaska Pipeline qui sillonne la région du nord au sud. Face à la grandeur des étendues sauvages, Eliott va peu à peu perdre pied. Le voyage professionnel va alors se muer en aventure initiatique. La raison se trouvera peut-être plus proche de la folie qu’il n’aurait pu l’imaginer.

La B.O. de Pipeline est le fruit de la collaboration entre L’ironie du son, Guillaume Peitrequin et Fabio Poujouly. Elle s’est faite dans le même esprit que le tournage : un « work in progress » collectif et expérimental, entre sons ethno-organiques et nappes électroniques donnant naissance à une splendide atmosphère de textures, ambiances, bruits qui tiennent une place prépondérante dans le film.
